Board Member - Maureen Cope, MBE

Maureen joined the Board in 1995. Maureen’s involvement with the voluntary housing sector first began in 1987. She is a former Chair of Ardenglen who led the merger with Castlebrae Co-op.  She served as a Community Councillor in Castlemilk for 5 years. Awarded an MBE in 1999 for her contribution to the voluntary housing movement. Maureen is a community activist who has campaigned against the bedroom tax and is a champion for community empowerment. Regular conference speaker and has sat on a number of Scottish Government working groups.  Maureen is committed to improving her skills and expertise and regularly attends training and conferences.
