Regulatory Status

Ardenglen is compliant and meets the Regulatory Standards of Governance and Financial Management.

Each year the Scottish Housing Regulator publishes an Engagement Plan for every RSL which assigns a ‘Regulatory Status’. This status determines if the RSL meets regulatory requirements, including the Standards of Governance and Financial Management for the forthcoming Financial Year. If a RSL meets the regulatory requirements, including the Standards of Governance and Financial Management they are deemed ‘Compliant’. All RSLs including Ardenglen work hard to maintain compliant status and each year we submit an Assurance Statement to the Scottish Housing Regulator demonstrating our compliance. However, in the event that the Association identifies non-compliance with it’s legislative or regulatory requirements then this would be conveyed to the Scottish Housing Regulator and clearly defined within our Assurance Statement.
