Our Senior Leadership Team

Our Senior Leadership Team are currently led by a Chief Executive and three directors, who each lead a specific area of work. They are responsible to the Board of Management for implementing our strategy and policies and for the day to day running of Ardenglen Housing Association. You can find our full staff structure here

David Byfield - Chief ExecutiveDavid joined Ardenglen in February 2019 as Director of Finance, Digital and Corporate. He was promoted to Chief Executive in June 2022. His career started with Glasgow City Council Housing Services and he brings a wealth of experience with over 21 years spent working in social housing.

Peter Kelly - Director Of Asset ManagementPeter started his career in the private sector working as a building surveyor and moved on to social housing where he has gained almost 30 year’s experience in the fields of maintenance and asset management. He has a Diploma in Building Surveying and A post Graduate Diploma in Housing studies. He is very much looking forward to help deliver the new Asset Management Strategy and recognises the importance of value for money particularly during the current cost of living crisis

Karen Fee - Director of Finance, Digital & CorporateKaren is an experienced senior manager, who has worked in both the private and public sectors, including 13 years as a Finance Manager within NHS Scotland, moving to social housing 6 years ago as Head of Finance with Maryhill Housing Association. Karen is a qualified accountant FCCA, a positive leader with a clear vision and is looking forward to working with the Ardenglen community, supporting tenants through the cost of living crisis and ensuring we achieve value for money.

Suzanne Casey - Director of Customer ServicesSuzanne joined Ardenglen in October 2005 as a housing officer before being promoted to Senior Housing Officer in 2017. Since her recent promotion to Director of Customer Services, she has responsibility for the delivery of housing, customer services & community investment. Prior to joining Ardenglen, Suzanne began her career in housing in 2001 with Glasgow City Council followed by Glasgow Housing Association. Suzanne has a post graduate diploma in housing and is a chartered member of the CIH. Suzanne is passionate about delivering good quality homes that are affordable & strives to continually improve the services that we deliver in order to make a positive impact on people’s lives and on the community.
